Monday was a very strange day, and I spent it feeling light and tingly all over. The commute felt different, like I was in a brand new city and seeing the sights for the very first time. It's a brand new KL, in a brand new Malaysia. It's thrilling and scary at the same time, kinda like finding the plot thread tugged from under your grasp, so now, for real, anything can happen.

Suddenly, I remembered what it was like to have hope for things to get better.

I want to capture what it feels like right here, right now, so that down the road I can look back at this moment with clarity from wherever the future will be, good or bad. Complacency is made of fail.

PS. I wish people would stop forwarding me creepy emails with personal pictures of local celebs/politicians. Not cool.
