KL Freeze aka ImprovEverywhere M'sia-style

So today a couple of us headed over to Lot 10 to join the KL Freeze event. I knew things were going to wrong (M'sians being M'sian) but it was going to be a memorable day, if it was the last thing we did dadgummit.

The first batch of laughs came at the adorably twinky and over-excitable kids who were trying So Very Hard To Look Nonchalant as they "lounged" about waiting for the notices on where the Freezing Point would be. I don't know, it seems that some people really didn't read the instructions on what was to go down, which was further proven when people froze a whole five minutes ahead of the stated time (supposed to be 3.35).

We did end up freezing with them, but I was disappointed that we couldn't get a better spot or brace ourselves for the freeze -- we had to freeze where we were regardless of whether we were ready, and I was worried that we were too far from the central group of people who totally took over the central stairs at the Pavillion. Even so, the reactions were awesome, and although I had my eyes shut (as was part of my pose) I could see the little kids who came right up to me and Nina to gawk at us. FABULOUS, DARLING.

I didn't get to see many of the other poses, but I liked the girl who froze while rummaging through her bag, and another who froze mid-stride. There was a bystander who walked by us and said really loudly, "THIS IS CRAZY." ♥

The event made Astro Awani and TV3 tonight, though of course all their footage is of the center group, with those of us at the sides all invisible, uuuu. I sure hope there are better shots of the overall effect, instead of focusing on a few people, like what I've seen so far.

Oh, and to the pansies who found it hard to "synchronise their watches": I hope you don't have to do anything hard in your life, like, say, read analog clocks.
